What's the role?
Provide technical support (eg. Drawings, calculations, etc.) to customers.
As an entry-level Design Engineer in PMO, this role will support higher-level Design Engineers.

What does the role involve?
- Revising CAD and/or hand drawn "board" drawings, working from instructions, marked prints, sketches & change notices.
- Produce engineering drawings for dimensional accuracy, fit (including tolerance build up), and conformity to drafting and design standards and specifications.
- Collaborate with the wider Engineering team by preparing layouts, reviewing sketches and making calculations as required, to accurately provide drawings and documentation that meet customer and manufacturing specifications.
- Provide engineering support to the lead engineers or design engineers by utilizing a thorough knowledge of products, of basic engineering principles, and of construction techniques.
- Provide direct engineering support for some simple applications with BU F&P products (including installation systems, anchors, Fire Protection, direct fastening, and etc.) through Hilti Profis Software.

What you need is:
- Bachelor degree in Civil engineering with very good structural engineering background.
- Know how in usage of structural engineering software (R-Stab, SAP2000) is a plus.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD software and other design tools and technologies to create, modify, and optimize designs.
- Experience working with plant design software (SmartPlant 3D or E3D) or BIM (Revit) is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, team work and self-learning ability.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English, Mandarin.
- Able to analyze problems and develop creative solutions that meet customer needs and requirements.
- Able to communicate their ideas clearly and effectively to cross-functional teams, customers, and stakeholders.
- Manage their time effectively to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality work
- Strong attention to detail.
- Committed to continuous learning and development, keeping up with new technologies and industry trends.
- Be able to work collaboratively with other engineers and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
