Procurement Project Manager
What's the role?
As a Procurement Project Manager, you are responsible of developing and implementing local, regional and global projects connected to procurement process & tools and linked to the Procurement Cycle (P2P). You manage and improve the Indirect Purchasing Process by involving and training the Regional Strategic Buyers and the other company functions on procurement procedures, processes, projects and guideline.
Together with Procurement & Facility Manager, you will manage the network between Regional Strategic Buyers, HQ and Finance Business Partners.

What does the role involve?
Contributes to and implements supply strategies and executes supply projects from analytics to tendering, contract negotiation and implementation on wider geographical scope and/or spend volume. Manages supplier performance and internal compliance to processes and policies.
The Procurement Project Manager also plays the role of Regional Strategic Buyer by managing a limited portfolio of indirect categories (material groups) and by running or developing new procurement projects coming from stakeholders.
Provide strategic advice & recommendations to your stakeholder, using the Procurement process as an opportunity to optimize spend & achieve value adding initiatives.
Coordination of Regional Strategic Buyers through the purchasing processes.
Analysis of the stakeholders needs to define the requirements of the product / service requested
Scouting of suppliers: search for the main market players relating to the good / service to be searched
Drafting and configuration of the entire RFX process (RFI / RFP / RFQ)
Negotiation of the product / service by submitting the best solution to the internal stakeholder by assessing the suitability and cost-effectiveness of the proposed solution, collaborating with all the functions involved (Legal, Finance Dept.)
Management of contracts, relationships and evaluation of your supplier panel
Drafting of the Rolling Forecast (trend of costs per Department / Indirect spend category) together with the Procurement Manager and the Controlling team
Management and optimization of the total spend volume in your categories
Active contribution to achieving the Productivity Target set by the Group, identifying and analyzing the strategic levers aimed at achieving savings in both economic and Demand Management terms.
Support and consultancy for E4 countries (Italy + Sub Adriatic countries)
Inspire and coach leaders in all functions to drive operational excellence & compliance to achieve the company’s strategy
Proactively monitor external environment and translate relevant trends to ensure agility and value creation

What you need is:
- Degree in Economics or Engineering (3+2 years)
- Fluent in English and at least basic in Italian
- Between 2 and 5 years experience in indirect procurement in a multinational organization
- Strategic mind-set with result orientation
- Knowledge of sourcing, procurement techniques and negotiations
- Excellent networking and communication skills (stakeholder management), including the ability to structure clear presentations and to simplify a financial message to non-finance stakeholders
- Experience or skills of project and/or process management
- Evidence of acting as a strategic partner through influencing and interacting with key stakeholders across a matrix organization
- Solid analytical skills
- A proactive approach in identifying external trends and acting as change agent
- Knowledge of System SAP (preferenza)
