What does the role involve?

As OEM Business Development you’ll be expected to meet and exceed our business targets, and maximize profitable growth in our region.

This means not only to proactively grow the sales of Hilti solutions to a defined portfolio of Accounts within sectors of expertise and through promoting additional services and value engineered solutions, but it also means partnering with our customers to understand their businesses. In this partnership you will be asked to develop a loyal, win-win relationships. It also involves working with other management teams to capitalize on business potential across territories, and taking an active role in handling key accounts.

You will be leading your own team, which calls for training, developing and motivating them, both individually and as a unit.

TASKS:

Identify and develop OEM business opportunities within Industry market
Define and implement strategies on accounts of responsibilities in partnership with HQ and the Hilti Sales team
Support Hilti Sales team developing and maintaining long-term relationship with relevant departments at all levels within assigned accounts (new and existing customers)
Schedule appointments, preparing and delivering presentation to the customers, having researched their business and requirements to promote Hilti products, applications and services
Support Sales team defining solution/proposal and quotation for customers and work on sales follow-up activities
Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
Works as part of a cross-functional team and closely with other departments within the organization (global and local) on complex projects by attending / leading tele conferences and meetings
Cooperate and support national and international Hilti team members working on same accounts in different Countries to create a Global OEM Community
Prepare and perform presentation at boardroom level (global and local)
Accountable for sales conversion of achieved OEM opportunities
Accountable to properly report activities on software modules SAP based
Monitor, detect and report customers need in terms of products, applications and services to promote innovative solutions
Support HQ functions on business tracking, market analysis, customer surveys and new products/services launch or improvement

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably a non-technical degree) with strong commercial/business capabilities and experience
  • Leadership
